The art teachers who guide, inspire, organize and make it possible for our student artists to shine now have a - much deserved - spotlight on them!
The New York State Art Teachers' Association (NYSATA) Region 6 Members' Exhibition is being held at Uncommon Grounds in Saratoga (402 Broadway) and five City School District of Albany educators have pieces in the show:
- Caitlin Sweet
- Kara Tolmie
- Autumn Brunell
- Sophia Hisert-Yun
- Michelle Patka
This year's exhibition showcases 100+ pieces from art educators in and around our NY Capital Region and has been curated by Sweet, from North Albany Middle School.
"It’s a really diverse and inspiring collection, and a great chance to see the creative work and talents of the teachers who inspire creativity and artistic expression in the classrooms and communities every day," said Sweet.
Congratulations to our talented art educators and thank you for doing all you do to promote creativity both inside and outside of the classroom.
