She said yes!

The boyfriend of a sixth-grade teacher gets down on one knee to propose to sixth-grade teacher Christina Zontini.

Love is the universal language and that was on full display Oct. 24 at Albany International Center, the district school focused on immigrant and refugee students.

During a regularly scheduled Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) assembly, Christina Zontini’s boyfriend surprised the sixth-grade teacher with a marriage proposal!

The entire school cheered on the radiant couple from the audience and happy tears were definitely shed.

If you’ve met Christina, you know how important her students are to her so it’s only natural that they were in on this event.

Congratulations Christina and Terry!
