Media Arts Festival

Albany High is excited to host the 2026 Media Arts Festival on Thursday, April 23!

During the day, students from 16 schools from across the Capital Region will gather together at Albany High to explore and share their creative efforts in the media arts. This year's exhibit will feature 191 2D works on display and just under 90 minutes of film. The festival will include a keynote speaker, Bhawin Suchak, who is an educator, filmmaker, and co-founder and co-executive director of Youth FX.

Students' work was adjudicated by art professionals including a photographer, graphic designer, animator and filmmakers. Awards will be presented for a variety of categories.

Students, families and community members are invited to an informal evening reception at Albany High from 6-7 p.m.
