Wednesday welcome at Albany High

Community partner clapping as students enter school

Albany High students who may have been sleepy heading to school on Wednesday were wide awake by the time they arrived at the door. That’s because they were greeted by a throng of cheering faculty, staff and community partners welcoming them to school.

The Sept. 11 “clap-in” was one of many taking place throughout the school district to give students a boost to be their best as the school year gets underway.
