It’s Computer Science Education Week, and Albany High School students marked the occasion by organizing an Hour of Code event.

Juniors Sarah Bearden, Onovu Otitigbe-Dangerfield and Mubashar Warriach orchestrated the event, which included presentations for fellow students on coding, robotics and emerging classroom technologies. Bearden, Otitigbe-Dangerfield and Warriach are all members of Albany High’s Student Help Desk, which gives them and other student volunteers hands-on experience in the world of IT while helping implement technological advances at Albany High and throughout the City School District of Albany.
