Albany High School vaccination clinic

The City School District of Albany has partnered with Whitney M. Young Jr. Health Center to provide another clinic offering free two-dose Pfizer vaccines to eligible Albany High School students.

The first dose will be administered May 20 and the second dose will be administered June 10. Both will be given at Abrookin Career and Technical Center, located at 99 Kent St.

All students who want the vaccine need to complete a vaccine screening form and a registration form and turn in both to the school nurse by Tuesday, May 18. Both forms are enclosed. In addition, students aged 16 and 17 require parent or guardian permission. An appointment will be scheduled at the time paperwork is submitted to the school nurse.

This is an important opportunity for our students to protect themselves from COVID-19 and help prevent the spread of the disease to others at school and in the community. If you have any questions, please contact Suzanne McCarthy, district health coordinator, at (518) 475-6174.
