School food pantry up and running

Jars of applesauce and peanut butter

The food pantry for Albany High School students and families will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in room 104.

Students and families need to register one time in order to "shop" there. If you would like to sign up, please call your student’s academy office (the numbers are below) or fill out this online form. Once students and families sign up, they will be able to get nutritious food free of charge during the food pantry's hours of operation.

Due to COVID-19, people will need to call their student’s academy and make an appointment before they visit the food pantry.

Albany High’s food pantry opened in February 2021 and is overseen by Citizenship Academy Principal Kandie Antonetti. The school was able to start it with support from Hannaford Supermarkets and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. Thanks to these community partners, Albany High will be able to offer another important service to students and families.
