The Albany High School Guidance Office will provide an overview of the college financial aid process at a virtual Financial Aid Night on Oct. 7 at 6 p.m.
The event will take place via a Google Meet. You can link to the event here. Seniors also will be able to get the link in their school counselor's Google classroom. Families can use their student's login information to enter the meet.
Topics will include:
- Process and timeline for completing FAFSA – the Free Application for Federal Student Aid;
- Expected family contribution
- Loans
- Grants
- Work-study
Kathleen Fenlon, director of financial aid at Siena College, will be the presenter. She comes with years of expertise in college financial aid.
Opportunity will be provided for questions. A video copy of the presentation will be posted to your child’s Google classroom for families unable to attend the virtual presentation.
