Reminders about student IDs

Please note these important reminders about Albany High School student ID cards.

When a student ID is required

  • Whenever a student enters Albany High. Also, students can no longer enter the building or cafeteria using their student number.
  • Whenever a staff member asks for it. Students are required to present their IDs to any staff member upon request. Student IDs also should always be visible, and students should have their schedules readily available. 
  • At all school events and activities, including athletics.
  • On CDTA buses. Students who qualify for CDTA transportation must present their ID each day and can ride for free only if they are eligible and have an activated student ID card. 

How to get or replace a student ID

Students should visit their academy office to get an original or replacement ID. Students without IDs will be required to meet with their academy administrators.
