Next Gen Barbers is open for business!

Students, staff and community members can get haircuts Thursday and Friday afternoons from aspiring barbers at Next Gen Barbers.

Next Gen Barbers is open from 1:15-2:45 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and is located in Albany High School's Abrookin Career and Technical Center, 99 Kent St. Cost is free for students, $5 for staff and $10 for community members.

An appointment is required; you can make one by calling (518) 475-6412.

Next Gen Barbers is composed of students from Barbering 1, 2 and 3 classes who are honing their skills with clippers and scissors and looking to get extra hours toward their certification. They work under the direction of teacher Jonathan Wafer.
