On Friday afternoon, our girls' flag football team took on Schenectady High School in an exciting quarterfinal match at The Falcon's Nest.
The Falcons delivered a spectacular performance, clinching a 51-0 victory over the Patriots. The entire team showcased remarkable effort on the field, with several standout highlights:
- Narai Danzy amazed fans with 110 passing yards.
- Elana Temple dominated the game with 70 rushing yards, three touchdowns, one interception (pick six), and three sacks.
- Jasanni Francis Torres wowed the crowd with two touchdowns and 50 receiving yards.
- Evangeline "Evie" Blake sprinted down the field, scoring two touchdowns and securing two interceptions (pick six).
- Azera Gates skillfully recorded three interceptions.
- Bryasia Nixon had nine impressive moments, including five sacks and four flag pulls.
- Damarie Cooley ran a powerful 15-yard rushing touchdown.
Join us to cheer on our Falcons as they compete in the semifinal game against Saratoga High School on Monday, May 19, at Albany High School. The game starts at 4:30 p.m., and tickets must be purchased online via the GoFan website. Children 12 and under are free.
