Artistry: For Good

Our National Art Honor Society members have been utilizing their artistry for good by creating a beautiful piece of artwork to display at The Madison Theater in celebration of Wicked: For Good officially hitting the big screen!

Thanks to the leadership of our National Art Honor Society officers Julia Rosi, Alex Steuer, Olive Carey, Sienna Stewart, Lucy Rathke-Cook and Edward "E.J." Verhoff, a stunning painting came to life! Along with the support of club advisor Ashleigh Harris-Johns, our students spent over 80 hours collaborating to bring this project from conception to completion!

On Thursday evening, our students gathered with more than 50 family members and friends at The Madison Theater for an unveiling of their painting. It was thrilling for our students to create a unique piece of artwork to be on display at this iconic landmark in the Pine Hills neighborhood. Our club officers were treated with complimentary tickets to Wicked: For Good, which was the perfect way to celebrate the completion of their work.

Whether Glenda is your gal, or Elphaba has captured your heart, you're bound to love this very special piece of artwork. Be sure to swing by to see it in person!
