Earlier this month, culinary teacher Lisa Valentine had the privilege of celebrating her students who earned the SkillsUSA Statesmen Pin. This award recognizes their leadership and extensive knowledge of SkillsUSA, a workforce development organization that many Career and Technical Education students participate in at Albany High.
Culinary III students (pictured L-R) Yandel Leon Valdez, Delee Ford, Angelica Diaz and Max Rivera put in significant effort to master their understanding of SkillsUSA and were tested on various topics to achieve this honor. Each student's pin reflects their dedication, work ethic and enthusiasm.
