Congratulations to Albany High senior Noah Bizer for a stellar performance at the New York State Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday!
Despite only having 30 minutes' rest between events, Bizer soared to a personal record in the 1,000 meter run, placing thirteenth overall with a time of 2:31.87—a tremendous feat! He also tied his own personal record with a time of 1:24.89 in the 600 meter run, placing twenty-second overall.
Respected by fellow student-athletes for his sportsmanship, leadership, focus and tenacity, Bizer is a shining example of what it means to be a Falcon.
We are extremely proud of all he has accomplished, not only this winter season, but throughout his high school athletic career as a three-season athlete competing in cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field.
Bizer will cap off his postseason competition for indoor track and field at the New Balance Nationals in Boston on March 14. He will compete in the 800 meter run in this elite competition against student-athletes from across the country.
