Albany High's softball team opened the season at home Monday against LaSalle at Westland Hills. 

The Falcons played hard in a 3-0 defeat, with Sydney Leigh limiting the Cadets to three earned runs over 5 2/3 innings. Julia Seniw and Angelina Rodriguez-Cacace each turned a double play to lead a strong defensive effort in support of Leigh.

Come cheer on our Falcons as they face off against Schenectady on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Westland Hills.
