Albany High's girls' lacrosse team thrilled Falcon fans in the first home game of the season with a resounding 11-3 win over Schenectady-Mohonasen-Schalmont.
The Falcons (2-1) filled the field with electric energy throughout the game, moving with precision and zipping the ball around the perimeter to keep the defense scrambling. In the midfield, Albany created numerous turnovers, and in the defensive end the backline showcased impeccable timing, intercepting passes and stripping the ball away from the visitors.
Grace McDaniel and Alina Mujic played an outstanding game, scoring four goals each, with Mujic also contributing two assists. Rose Madden, Jineyshka Johnson and Mwajuma Kabwe scored one goal each, making strong contributions to the win.
Come cheer on our Falcons in their next game this Thursday as they face off against Troy at The Nest. The game begins at 4:30 p.m.
