Ramadan Mubarak from Eagle Point Elementary School!

A student became the teacher in Molly Pettini’s classroom on Wednesday!

Samirah Alamgir taught her fellow third graders about Ramadan, the holiest month of the year for Muslims.

Samirah shared facts about the Islamic observation and also some of her family’s special customs.

This year Ramadan runs from March 12-April 9 with Eid celebrations April 10.

The lesson ended with applause and wishes for a generous Ramadan – or Ramadan Kareem – to Samirah!
