JOB FAIR SATURDAY!
Giffen Memorial Elementary School celebrated the parents, guardians, family members and friends who play a special role in the lives of our students Thursday morning with a special program in the auditorium.
The celebration was in conjunction with the national observance of "Dads Take Your Child to School Day." Motivational speakers included New York State Office of Children and Family Services Commissioner Sheila Poole, local entrepreneur Angelo Maddux Jr., and Giffen Home School Coordinator Derek Johnson.
We are grateful for all of the adults who support our students every day. Thanks for all that you do!
