Talk about a great day to be a Gator!
The annual staff vs. parents basketball game at Giffen Memorial Elementary School finished 38-38 on Friday afternoon, supported by a lively and noisy cheering section consisting of the entire school (plus Griffin the Giffen Gator, of course).
Principal Jasmine Brown provided play-by-play commentary during the game, and home school coordinator Derek Johnson served as referee during the 2023 matchup between Giffen staffers and parents and guardians of Giffen students.
