Family Literacy Night

Save the date and start practicing! The William S. Hackett Middle School No Place for Hate Committee is sponsoring a Family Literacy Night on April 5 from 5-7 p.m., and students are invited to recite a poem, song or rap (their own or someone else’s work) at the event.

The evening will include snacks and prizes. Representatives from our community partners at Grassroot Givers, the Albany Public Library and others also will be on hand with books and other literacy resources for students of all ages and their families.
