Hackett administrative change

The City School District of Albany Board of Education confirmed the following administrative change for William S. Hackett Middle School on Thursday night, part of district-wide staffing reductions caused by devastating anticipated reductions in state aid that could total as much as $23.2 million for the 2020-21 school year.

Assistant Principal Suzann Cornell will not return in the 2020-21 school year due to the reductions, effective Sept. 25. The position has been eliminated as part of the district's budget reductions.
