City School District of Albany logo

William S. Hackett Middle School sixth-graders eligible for bus transportation can take CDTA buses to and from school.

Eligible Hackett students can ride all CDTA bus lines that operate in the city, including CDTA “tripper” buses that serve our school. Please note that all district students can ride CDTA buses without a pass or paying a fare through Friday, Oct. 2. Only eligible students will be allowed to ride without paying a fare beginning Monday, Oct. 5. Eligible students -- those living 1.5 miles or more from school -- will have their student IDs activated to use as the bus pass.

Please note that appropriate social distancing and wearing masks are expected for all students riding CDTA buses.
