Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers:

On Wednesday, Nov. 25, Hackett Middle School will be conducting their annual Parent-Teacher Conference Day. Please note that there is no school for students on this day.

Parent-teacher conferences allow us to meet together to discuss your student’s progress. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all parent-teacher conferences this year will be held virtually through Google meetings.

Hackett teachers will be reaching out to you over the next week to schedule conferences. If you are interested in a discussing your student’s progress, I strongly urge you to schedule a meeting using one of the following tools:

  • Call the guidance office at (518) 475-6486 (Mrs. Elliott)
  • Call your student’s guidance counselor at (518) 475-6475 (Mr. Brown or Mrs. Watson)
  • Email your student’s classroom teacher. You can get find teacher emails by logging into the schooltool parent or student portal at albanyschools.org/schooltool, clicking on the “schedule” tab for your student and clicking on the envelope next to the teacher name.

Good communication between parents and teachers is a key part of student success, and parent-teacher conferences are just one way we can work together on behalf our students. I hope to see you on Nov. 25!
