Serving up the weekend!

Smiling student holds tray of barbecue foods

Friday was a perfect day for a lunchtime cookout, and the William S. Hackett Middle School community enjoyed great weather and great food at their annual barbecue and ice cream social.

Principal Michael Paolino ran the grill with help from School Resource Officer (and sous chef) Nicole Reddix. Students had a choice of hotdogs or burgers while members of the Hackett PTA served the barbecue fare and ice cream. (Thank you, PTA, and thanks to Stewart’s for donating the ice cream and sundae fixings!)

Students in all three lunch periods were able to enjoy the special lunch option. What a great way to finish up the week!
