Music In Our Schools Month concludes with the All-City Band concert tomorrow (March 31) beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Albany High School. Bravo to all our participating students and their guiding teachers!
All district families are invited to Montessori Magnet School tomorrow (March 31) from 5-7 p.m. for the annual Autism Spectrum Fair. Transportation is provided and the event is free!
There is no school this Friday, April 3 through Friday, April 10 for Spring Recess. Classes will resume on Monday, April 13. Enjoy the break!

Looking for a summer job? Applications are now open for the City of Albany's Summer Youth Employment Program. The pay is $16 an hour and you must be 14 by March 31.
When we return from recess, we prepare for a heavy dose of testing including the 2026 New York State Assessments, Regents and Spring NWEA, beginning on April 15 and 16 with the New York State ELA test. See state assessment dates below. It is my hope that attendance will be high during testing, however, your child should bring a note following any absence and be sure to complete any missed work.
Your artwork could become a coveted election reward! Consider putting your creativity, and love of civics, to the test and design an I Voted sticker for the Albany County Board of Elections. Submissions are due July 16.
