Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

A teacher and students celebrate Thanksgiving by watching Charlie Brown.

It may not be a traditional Thanksgiving feast but it’s becoming a tradition at Montessori Magnet School!

Kate DelBene and Emily Maniak’s first and second-graders traded turkey for toast, potatoes for pretzels, pie for popcorn and gravy for jelly beans and celebrated the holiday, Charlie Brown style!

Before heading home for the break, the class watched “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” while snacking on the 1973 classic’s signature cartoon meal.
