A day in the life: Katie Light and Evelyn Wood’s pre-K/K

Visit our district Facebook page to take a look at a typical day of learning in Katie Light and Evelyn Wood’s pre-K/kindergarten classroom at Montessori Magnet School. 

Students spent the morning of Jan. 17 exploring the worlds of ELA, math, science, social studies and more as they moved from station to station in the combined pre-K and kindergarten classroom. As part of the magnet school’s central Montessori theme, students move freely about the environment, learning through hands-on exploration both independently and in small groups.
