Final MMS "Morning" Program

Students in the No Place for Hate leadership group present to the school.

We saved the best for last!

Our final Morning Program (actually held in the afternoon Thursday because it contained so many pieces) shared the important themes of inclusion, kindness, respect and voice.

It contained student and staff performances, a strings instrument pair - also MMS parents - whose repertoire spanned Tchaikovsky to Taylor Swift, a duet from Mr. Affatigato and Mr. Powell, a presentation by our No Place for Hate student leaders demonstrating that we are more alike than we are dissimilar, a very “sheepy” (her request) 60th birthday wish for Ms. Walton and building-wide shout-outs.

We are confident that the messages learned today will be put into use by our students in the final weeks of this school year and we can’t wait to witness it!

Except the talking like sheep…maybe we will go with horses next?
