Kindness prioritized at Myers

Sixth-graders hold up letters spelling out the word kindness.

Kindness begins with me.

That’s the pledge sixth-graders at Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School took on Jan. 3 during the building’s second annual Kindness Campaign kickoff.

During the event, which administrators and the guidance department ran in Heidi Sabatino's English language arts classes throughout the day, students learned how to identify and stand up to bullying and also discussed how to spread kindness – at home, school and in the world.
