Celebrating the season through kindness

Students pose in front of a bulletin board about kindness.

If someone you don’t know said “hi” to you today, pay it forward!

Sixth-grade ‘No Place for Hate’ ambassadors Serenity Boettner, Andrew Bryant and Sarah Niragire-Sengabo (along with guidance counselor Kristy Koldis) kicked off 12 Days of Kindness on Thursday morning.

Each day a group of volunteer students will unwrap a “gift” from the bulletin board in the cafeteria and inside they will find a task to carry out that is intended to spread positivity and kindness. A gift will be opened every day until the district’s holiday recess begins
