Grade 7 social studies update

The following is an important message from Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School Principal William Rivers:

I am writing with an update on the grade 7 social studies position recently vacated by Dylan Cordaro.

Beginning today, David Gregory will be the sub assigned to Cordaro’s classes until a permanent replacement is hired. John Batch, who currently teaches grade 8 social studies here at Myers, will prepare all the lessons and complete the grading. Gregory is a teaching assistant in the building and should be familiar to many of our students.

Interviews for Cordaro’s replacement have been conducted and we are hopeful the successful candidate will be approved by the Board of Education and in the classroom as quickly as possible.
