- New York State testing begins tomorrow in all three district middle schools. Grade 8 will sit for ELA assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 23-24) and grade 6 will sit for ELA assessments on Thursday and Friday (April 25-26). Please ensure that your student receives a good night’s rest and eats a solid breakfast (either at home or for free here at school) in the morning.

- Help wanted! Volunteers are needed to help support the Myers Food Pantry. If you are available on Thursdays from 1:24-2:50 p.m., please reach out to our Community School Coordinator.
- SAVE THE DATE: Our spring concert is scheduled for May 22 at 6:30 p.m.
- Join the Vegetable Project for its annual fundraiser, Evening in the Garden, here at Myers on May 7 from 5:30-7 p.m.
- The district is partnering with the Black Child Development Institute to offer students in grades 6-12, and their parents and guardians, an opportunity to attend the free Entering the College Zone Student Conference on April 27 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College.
- The Albany Booster Club – which supports extracurriculars thoughout the district – needs adult volunteers to run the concession stand during home games this spring on the turf field. Please sign up for a shift today!
