- All are welcome to join us Wednesday (Sept. 25) for the PTSA's ice cream social! The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. and we'll meet in the garden behind the school.
- Afterschool programming will begin Oct. 7 at Myers. The 30-week program will offer individualized tutoring and homework help as well as enrichment programs Monday-Thursday. Transportation is provided. Sign up information will be out soon so please keep an eye on SchoolMessenger and the Myers Facebook page.

- The district's annual Go Home Early Drill will be held Friday, Oct. 11. Important details about dismissal, and after-school activities, can be found on the district website.
- The Myers PTSA needs you! Please join as a student, family member or staff member. You can also show your Junior Falcon pride by ordering a tee shirt via the PTSA.
- Important transportation note: The CDTA grace period (riding without an activated ID) has been extended through Sept. 27. Details can be found on the district website.
- We are looking for parents/guardians to help share their talent and expertise with our students! Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey and let us know how you can help to support and guide in our building.
- Support the Myers Ski Club by purchasing mums by Oct. 1. Thanks, in advance, for your support!
- Please consider signing up for a concession stand shift during the fall athletic season. In addition to student-athletes, the Albany Booster Club (ABC) funds: author visits, food pantry, marching band, robotics, indoor percussion, Junior ROTC and many more organizations and groups that make our district special!
- If you haven't already, don't forget to register for the Oct. 6 Falcon 5k. The annual community event raises money for the ABC.
- Consider supporting The Vegetable Project by purchasing from this bulb sale. Order must be in by Oct. 14.
