Thanks to all who made the PTSA's Myers Mixer on Sunday a success! We appreciate all who contributed and attended, especially our wonderful Jazz Band (guided by Jesse Rawson). The ensemble had a busy week as they also showed off their talents on Thursday with a concert at the Empire State Plaza.


See why the next generation thinks manufacturing is cool!  Our Junior Falcons teamed up with Malta-based company G+G Industrial Lighting to learn more about - and promote with a student-created video - careers in manufacturing. Viewers can vote for our vid as many times as they want via the What's So Cool About Manufacturing Capital Region page beginning at 12:01 a.m. on March 31-11:59 p.m. on April 2.


Students 14 (as of March 31) and older are encouraged to apply for the City of Albany's Summer Youth Employment Program. Pay is $16/hour and details, including registration information, can be found here.


All district families are invited to Montessori Magnet School tomorrow (March 31) from 5-7 p.m. for the annual Autism Spectrum Fair. Transportation is provided and the event is free! 


TeenXcel, which will take place every Tuesday through June 16 at the former College of St. Rose campus (420 Western Ave.! This free program is for students ages 13-18 and it offers a nutritious meal and structured enrichment activities, including basketball and e-gaming, to support participants’ physical, social and emotional development. Guided by trained YMCA staff and volunteers, TeenXcel also cultivates positive peer relationships and provides teens with access to adult mentors and role models. Your artwork could become a coveted election reward! Consider putting your creativity, and love of civics, to the test and design an I Voted sticker for the Albany County Board of Elections. Submissions are due July 16.
