A new look for our site

Welcome to the new albanyschools.org!

We have completely redesigned and dramatically updated our website to provide our students, families, faculty and staff, and community members with a significantly improved product. We have reorganized our content into an easily navigable and user-friendly layout, which is also compatible with mobile devices and fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Our goal with this redesign is to provide you with information and updates about all aspects of the City School District of Albany that is easier to find, more convenient to use and, most importantly, more helpful in empowering families and all stakeholders in supporting student success. 

With this initial phase of our redesign completed as we kick off the 2019-20 school year, we now enter the next phase of our web-development project. 

This will include creating a consistent level of information across all departments, and incorporating information from third-party sites that faculty and staff have used over the years. Our next steps also will include training and workflow development to allow faculty and staff to maintain information for their schools and departments, updating and integrating our communication tools, and much more. 
 
This initial launch of the new albanyschools.org is an exciting step in the ongoing work to continuously improve our level of service to our students and families. We look forward to working with you all to create the best possible web presence for our organization and community.
