Chalk it up to artistic talent.
That’s precisely what New Scotland Elementary students and families did on Thursday afternoon when they sketched and colored chalk masterpieces on the sidewalk in front of school at their annual “Chalk the Walk.”
The artists at this year’s event – both virtual and in-person students – were undaunted by the need to wear masks and remain six feet apart, concessions to COVID-19.
