We're on a roll on June 4!
Thursday, June 4 is a big day at New Scotland Elementary. We are excited to kick off the day with our annual Walk and Roll to School celebration. We encourage members of our school community to walk or ride a bike or scooter (don't forget your helmet!) from home in the morning and gather together outside the New Scotland Avenue entrance. Walking and rolling to school is fun, good for the environment and good for our health. Bikes and scooters can be locked in our bike racks or stored the playground behind school.
This special morning we will also honor our fabulous crossing guards who keep everyone safe!
We invite family and friends to return later, at 5:30 p.m., for our Heart of Learning event, focusing on Math, Literacy, and Social-Emotional Learning. Keep an eye out for the flyer coming home next week with all the details.
We can’t wait to see you!
Fundraising to support fifth grade
Our fifth-graders will be selling popsicles every Thursday and Friday after school to help raise funds for their end-of-year activities. Popsicles cost $1. Students will be stationed on New Scotland Avenue. Please consider supporting them!
