Testing, Testing …
New York State Testing for English Language Arts begins next week:
April 21 and 22 — grades 3 and 4
April 23 & 24 — grade 5
Morning drop off
We are very fortunate to have a patrol officer during the morning and afternoon drop-off to assist our students as they enter and leave the school building. Please be sure to adhere to our carpool guidance, the traffic signs and the instructions that are given by our security personnel. This helps ensure that drop off runs smoothly and doesn’t impede traffic on New Scotland Avenue and around the perimeter of the building.
Bring Your Art Game
On Friday, April 30 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. , NSES will have their first art exhibition celebrating belonging, diversity and inclusion. We will have art work on display done by students and staff. Light refreshments will be provided.
SEPAC HEROes
Three years ago, the Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) started HERO appreciation awards to recognize and celebrate people who have gone above and beyond to support students with special needs. We are so thrilled to share that we have seven staff members receiving this recognition.
- Meredith Avery McDonald
- Dorothy Carter
- Chris LaPointe
- Anthony Northup
- Jennifer Pratt
- Marlette Aanensen-Ramundo
- Jessica Sullivan
