Home School Coordinator
New Scotland Elementary School is thrilled to welcome Lorraine Ruiz-Rios as our new Home School Coordinator.
Ms. Ruiz-Rios brings valuable experience to this role, having served as the HSC at Delaware Community School. In this role, Ms. Ruiz-Rios will serve as a vital bridge between our school and families, ensuring strong communication and collaboration that supports success both in the classroom and at home.
For the next month or so of the school year, Ms. Ruiz-Rios’s focus will be spending time getting to know students and our families, learning about what matters most to you, understanding your needs and building relationships with our school community.
We believe Ms. Ruiz-Rios will be a wonderful asset to our NSES community.
ABC Countdown
Starting May 19, we are launching an exciting ABC Countdown celebration leading up to the end of the year! We are aiming for 100% participation, so check your child's folder or click our (ABC Countdown Flyer) for all the fun details.
We kick off with “A” for At-Home Day. No, this does not mean we are staying home! Instead, we are asking everyone to wear their comfiest clothes from home—think sweatpants, favorite t-shirts, and relaxed vibes.
Get ready for some seriously fun days ahead. We are especially looking forward to our students and staff celebrating Crazy Hair Day and Wacky Clothes Day! From the first letter to the last, we hope to make the end of the year unforgettable. Let’s make it a fantastic finale to an amazing year.
