CDTA tripper information for the new school year

A student gets off a CDTA bus at school

CDTA has provided route schedules, maps and directions for the tripper buses that will serve our middle schools and Albany High School for the 2022-23 school year.

You can visit our Transportation section to download the route directions and a CDTA brochure with the schedules and maps for all tripper routes.

  • Please note that CDTA trippers for all three middle schools will operate beginning Thursday, Sept. 1.
  • CDTA tripper buses for Albany High will begin Tuesday, Sept. 6. Albany High students can ride any regular CDTA route to get to and from school on the first days of school this Thursday and Friday.

CDTA once again will provide service for Albany International Center secondary students via the 100 and 106 routes; these brochures are available on our website as well. These buses will be available for AIC students when school begins Sept. 1.

All students will be able to ride for free for the first two weeks of school -- through Friday, Sept. 16.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 19, only eligible students (those living 1.5 miles or more from school) with an activated swiper/ID will be allowed to ride without paying the standard CDTA fare.

You can find additional information on CDTA’s website, including CDTA's Trip Planner tool to help you find the best bus route to get where you need to go.
