- Spring modified sports begin Monday (March 25) for students in grades 7-8. Please ensure that your student's registration is complete (including physical information). Next week's practice schedule - and transportation details - can be found on the City School District of Albany's Athletics page.
- REMINDER: Our PTA will meet on Monday (March 25) at 5:30 p.m. in the Media Center. If you can't attend in person, join us virtually!
- Montessori Magnet School is hosting its annual Autism Spectrum Fair on Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30-7 p.m. The event is free and open to all district families.
- Please consider attending a virtual informational meeting on March 28 (via Zoom from 5:30-7 p.m.) about the Black and Latino Student Achievers. Achievers is a multicultural effort to create equity in education and the workplace.
- The district is partnering with the Black Child Development Institute to offer students in grades 6-12, and their parents and guardians, an opportunity to attend the free Entering the College Zone Student Conference on April 27 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College.
- The Albany Booster Club – which, among other things, supports athletic, arts and JROTC funding – needs adult volunteers to run the concession stand during home games this spring on the turf field. Please sign up for a shift today!
- The Vegetable Project, a program that supports hands-on learning involving science and nature here at NAMS and other district schools, is running a seed fundraiser through March 29.
- NAMS' after-school programming sign ups are ongoing! Any student interested in participating should pick up an application in the main office or register online via this link. A schedule of upcoming offerings can be found here.
- Registration is now open for our Be Well, Wellness Program. If you are interested in joining the program, please fill out this form.
