Three cheers for room 331 at North Albany Middle School

The hard work and creativity of Lois Gaines’ students at North Albany Middle School not only earned the attention of our school community, but also the media.

During the month of April, in conjunction with Autism Appreciation Month, a class at North Albany Middle School celebrated their individuality with an art and career exploration entitled I am Enough.

The project culminated with an official presentation to family, friends and staff on Tuesday. The sixth through eighth-graders shared, and answered questions about, the digital book they designed about themselves and also showed off accompanying art that highlights their personality and goals.

If you haven’t already, check out pictures from earlier this month of students working on the project, highlights from yesterday’s exhibit and WTEN’s coverage of the event.
