- It has been a busy week and we wouldn't have it any other way:
- Congrats to our 250 scholars recognized at Friday's Hon-a-Roll (and bravo to our Jazz Band's opening act)
- On Thursday we showcased the unique customs and traditions of our diverse student body and staff.
- Grade 6 social studies traveled to ancient Greece, Rome and China
- Happy Mother's Day from Lois Gaines and Emma Trulock's classes

- Huge THANK YOU to all who made Friday's Hon-a-Roll ceremony, and after party, a success! We appreciate the set up, clean up and donations!
- Next week (Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.) is the final PTA meeting of the 2024-25 school year. We are seeking nominations for next year's officers. A nomination form, plus description of each role, can be found here - remember, we can't do what we do without YOU!
- Earn money for North Albany Middle School's PTA simply by shopping at Hannaford! The Hannaford Helps Schools program runs through June 7. Shoppers will earn three school dollars for every four participating products purchased. At checkout, customers will receive a printout they can redeem online to donate to NAMS.
- Albany High School's Spring Open House - for rising ninth graders - is scheduled for May 29 at 5:30 p.m. The event will introduce incoming students, and their families, to the campus and the wide variety of academic, athletic and extracurricular activities offered at AHS.
- The City School District of Albany approved a $342.4-million budget for 2025-26. If approved May 20, the budget would continue to support programs and services that students need and deserve while also minimizing the impact on taxpayers. You can visit our Budget section to read more about the proposal and other related items voters will consider May 20. Additionally, two Board of Education seats are open - you can find more about that election on the district website, as well.
