- Now that fall is here, please send your student to school with a jacket/vest for outdoor recess. If your family is in need of winter wear, please contact Community School Site Coordinator Dave Sherrod (dsherrod@albany.k12.ny.us).
- REMINDER: All district schools are closed next Friday (Oct. 24) to accommodate parent/teacher conferences.
- Our Teen Night is scheduled for Nov. 10 and includes events for parents/guardians too! Please join us for a Parents' Paint-n-Chip!
- Update from the PTA:
- Please join us on Wednesday (Oct. 22) at 5:30 p.m. in the Media Center (or virtually via this link) for this month's meeting. Agenda items, questions and concerns can be submitted in advance using this Google Form.
- The PTA's goal is to bring in income with items our families already buy. Box Tops and Clynk are easy ways you can help. Support the organization that supports our students and staff!
- PTA is looking for volunteers to staff stations at the Nov. 10 Teen Night. Volunteers will help sell concessions and assist with the various stations will be enjoying during the event.

- Oct. 23: Parent/Teacher conferences (evening)
- Oct. 24: Parent/Teacher conferences (NO SCHOOL)
- Oct. 24: Registration begins for modified (grades 7-8) winter sports
- Oct. 27-31: Spirit Week
- Nov. 7: Q1 ends
- Nov. 10: Teen Night, 4-6 p.m. (parents/guardians are invited too)
- Nov. 11: Veterans Day (NO SCHOOL)
- Nov. 19: Dismiss at 12:30 p.m. to accommodate staff PD
- Nov. 24: Modified winter sports begin
- Nov. 26-28: Thanksgiving Recess (NO SCHOOL)
- Dec. 5: Q1 Honor Roll Ceremony
- Dec. 16: Winter Concert (6 p.m.) and Art Show (5:30 p.m.)
