Are you ready for Teen Night 3.0? The fun begins at 3 p.m. this afternoon (Friday, May 15) with a student soccer tournament. The game is followed by your favorite Teen Night activities - movies, dancing, crafts and gaming - that run until 7 p.m. The PTA will be selling concessions. It's not too late to sign up to volunteer! Fill out this form and identify where you'd like to be stationed - or just show up!
Congratulations to Tat Htun, Nargis Zadran and Kazi Rafan, who placed first in the seventh-grade category at Thursday's science fair at the University at Albany with their project entitled Tennis Drop! Six teams from NAMS advanced to the fair. Check out these photos from the event!

- 50% of the proceeds from the June 9 Dine to Donate event at Paesan's will benefit the NAMS PTA. Mark your calendar and join us!
- Our grade 8 teachers are requesting baby photos of your soon-to-be graduates for a special project. If you haven't already, please send a baby photo or two to rliberty@albany.k12.ny.us and rstockwell@albany.k12.ny.us.
- The next PTA meeting is Wednesday, May 20. If you have a topic or question you'd like discussed, please submit via this Google Form.
- The NAMS PTA needs YOU! Please consider joining the PTA executive board for the 2026-27 school year. Nominate yourself or another member of our community by emailing acsdnamspta@gmail.com - we can't do what we do without YOU!
Boys and girls in grades 7-8 who are interested in tennis should consider signing up for this modified team at Albany High School - practices started Thursday, but there are still spots for more student-athletes.
Registration for the City School District of Albany's free Summer Arts Program is open through June 5. Students in grades 3-11 are eligible to sign up for the four-week program (July 6-31) for art, theater, dance, band and orchestra.

If your student-athlete is on the modified track team, Albany High School's Booster Club needs your help! Concession stand sign-ups are open for two upcoming modified track meets at Albany High next Thursday, May 21. Even if your child is not on the track team, this is a GREAT way to get involved at Albany High - the Booster Club supports extracurriculars from music and theater, sports and clubs, art and JROTC, and more! Please note that to sign up for a volunteer slot you do have to make an account, but you do not have to become a sponsor.
