Habit 5 Assembly

Student leaders conduct an assembly on the importance of empathic listening.

Grade 4 led our Habit 5 Assembly Friday – Seek first to understand then to be understood.

Our student leaders shared with their peers the importance of listening before speaking and also the skill of empathic listening, which is to hear what someone else is saying and also understand how they are feeling.

The monthly gathering was followed by a school-wide sing along before students and staff wished each other well before heading home for Winter Break.
