Holiday traditions continues at SPA

We don’t want to brag but … our Balloons Over Broadway parade keeps getting better!

The annual Thanksgiving tradition at SPA was started by beloved fourth-grade teacher Elizabeth Palmer three years ago and Tuesday’s event was dedicated to her memory.

Each classroom read Balloons Over Broadway, which profiles the puppeteer who developed the giant floating balloons in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, and then students showcase their own creativity during the main event before Thanksgiving break.

Plus, everyone enjoyed a sweet seasonal treat after lunch, thanks to all who contributed!
