Attendance matters at TOAST!

Assistant principal, superintendent, child and dad pose with certificate

The first blast of winter on Tuesday didn’t dampen the spirits of the folks at Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology (TOAST) who turned out at a breakfast to celebrate the 335 students who had either perfect or excellent attendance in October.

Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams was on hand to congratulate students and their families for showing that attendance matters, all day, every day.

Perfect attendance means being at school every day, on time. Excellent attendance means being at every day, on time for 95% of the month. Almost three-quarters of all TOAST students fell into one of those categories!
