A day in the life: Maria Sokaris’ second grade

Visit our district Facebook page to take a look at a typical day of learning in Maria Sokaris’ second grade at Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology (TOAST). 

Students started the morning of March 13 off with English Language Arts (ELA), working at centers and in guided reading groups on the skill of finding evidence within a text. After ELA, the class turned its focus to math, discussing the solution to their problem of the day.
