We're back in school!

On Wednesday morning – for the first time since March 13, 2020 – TOAST and all schools in the City School District of Albany welcomed all students, faculty and staff for a day of school.

The 2021-22 school year officially began for all students Wednesday. While the COVID-19 health and safety protocols emphasized that the pandemic is still a challenge, students jumped right into learning – literally, in the case of one very energetic group of kindergarteners!

Please see our Facebook page to see photos from the day.

The City of Albany’s Department of General Services also continued work on the new walkway behind school. The walkway is scheduled to be completed over the weekend, giving TOAST students in grades 1-5 a brand new path to school from the Sunshine road dropoff and pickup zone beginning next Monday.
